COMMERCIALS & MODELING

COMMERCIALS

Interested in Print Modeling or Commercials? Here three tips to get started!

  1. Have commercial head shots taken by a professional photographer. Commercial head shots should be warm and friendly. A natural smile is always great!

  2. Create a profile on ActorsAccess.com and CastingNetworks.com websites. All agents require you have a profile before working together. You can use these sites to submit yourself for auditions!

  3. Get an Agent. Here is a list of agents that I love in NYC. You can also do a Google search. Most of them have places on their websites to submit yourself for representation. A red flag to look out for is if an agency asks you for any money up front or try to sell you photo packages. Agents only get 10% after booking. You can also sign up for paid workshops and meetings with agents and casting directors at Actors Connection, The Actors Green Room and, One on One.

One last tip: When I first started in 2008, I took a commercial class with Brooke and Mary. They are amazing commercial casting directors. I met most of the agents I work with now at one of their workshops. Check them out!

Fun fact: I love taking pictures! My work as a theatre actress in NYC naturally progressed to on-camera work and I have had the opportunity to appear in dozens of commercials and print ads. I am currently represented by:
