Pilin Anice, ERYT- 200, is a yoga, dance, and meditation instructor, wellness expert, and model. Passionate about helping others connect to their highest self, she has guided students of all ages in the sacred movements of yoga and dance through a range of workshops and classes for over a decade. She has studied with masters of West African dance, Dunham Technique, and African Diasporic dances of Haiti, Cuba, and Brazil for nearly twenty years. A Kripalu trained yoga instructor, she has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, BET/CentricTV and YogaXpress. Known for infusing joy and connection in her classes, she has taught in the US and abroad, including the Omega Institute, Dubai Yoga Fest, and SoulFEST. Her passion for yoga and dance led her to become a certified Afro Flow Yoga® instructor for eight years, which she taught at the Ailey Extension in New York City and was a featured in the NY Times and SELF. Pilin is a Forme Barre instructor and currently teaches monthly classes online on the NEOU Fitness app. As an Athleta Brand Ambassador for two years, Pilin offered community building workshops and was featured in the Fall catalog.
As a professional performer, Pilin has performed Off-Broadway, on National Tours, and in regional productions. She has modeled in commercials, print ads, and industrials for many Fortune 500 companies including Disney, Visa, and Google. She has also worked extensively as a vocalist performing in concerts and cabarets throughout New York City.
A longtime vegan and certified wellness coach, she is a go to expert on plant based wellness through pregnancy and beyond and is the creator of PBCK, a platform for nourishing families. An alumna of Howard University, she also studied at the Ailey School and will complete her RYT-500 in September 2019. She lives in the NYC area with her husband and two children.
